If you were self employed in 15-16 then yes, you will need to file a tax return and pay tax on your net profit from self employment.. Did your dependants make any in-time applications and were they refused with rights of appeal as well? I was applied ilr and my dependents were apply flr(m) together. Why do you think you will qualify for long residence? The overstay between July and February 2007 is 7 months. That has the potential of breaking your long residence. It is quite complex to be honest. There are different calculations and policy for employment and self employment income. For Self-employment, it will be your tax return over the last year or the average of 2 tax years. For employment, it is the earning over 6 months, depending on the circumstances....

Life in uk expire

Dear members and all fourm users

I applied ILR in March 2012. I had passed life in uk test for my ILR. Unfortunity my ILR was refused. I am planning to apply again ILR with new circumstances. I want to do I have to take life in uk test again or in march 2012 should be valid for that?
