Re: Urgent English Test Question

I am about to apply for naturalisation and have applied for NARIC certificate. My doubt is does the dependent also require this NARIC certificate about degree taught in English?

Citizenship process for a child born in uk

Hello All,

I have a daughter who was born here in UK. Now I am about to apply for ILR for me and my family.

The question is do I need to apply for ILR for my daughter as well or can I directly apply for her naturalization? If yes then what is the process of applying for naturalization?

For Dependent - Set(O) or Set(M)

Guys,

The more I read, more I get confused :)

Assuming that main applicant has recently got his ILR, could any moderator/guru please elaborate why dependent wife, for ILR, would apply on Set(O) and not on Set(M)?

Also I have 2 kids. Would they be applying using SET(F)

I think it should be Set(M) "If the main applicant is granted indefinite leave, family members will need to apply under the relevant categories of the rules relating to spouses, civil partners and dependent children of persons present and settled in the UK." As such, the spouse in this case would ne...

How early could I book an ILR appt

Hello!!

I got my Tier 1 entry clearance from India on 14-Apr-2008 and entered UK on 14-May-2008 (30 days later).

Now to apply for ILR, how early could I book an appointment? (basically bit confused with 28 days stuff)

Any response is deeply appreciated.

Getting bit off topic, these guys talk about capping NON EU people coming here as immigrantion is very high blah blah. But the statistics say other thing. Its the people from East european countries which are flocking in and grabbing their resources. When Poland joined EU, more than 1.3 millon came ...

Applyng for tier1 from UK but providing salry slips of India

One of my friend has just landed in UK on Work Permit (around 1 month back).
Can he apply for Tier 1 from UK now providing Indian salary slips for last 12 months (which gives him enough points to finally make it to 75)?
Any response would be appriciated.
