Urgent Treatment Form - FLR - Does it work?

I've sent an Urgent Treatment Form(FLR) stating my
personal reason to visit back home urgently...

Will that form really work?
Do they really respond on it?

How long do I need to wait to get the response,
once I faxed that form?

Please reply on this....
Thanks in advance[/i]

1. Is it ok to apply for ILR instead of extension of LTR? From what I've seen on IND web site, this shouldn't be a problem, but I would appreciate some expert advice.
Ivan Could you provide here the link of the IND website regarding that.

Thank you
