I applied on 5th October. Called them yesterday and got same answer as usual
application is in progress. So i guess we are all in the same boat.

Applied on 5/10/2013. Received on 8/10/13.

Fees taken 28/10/2013. Acknowledgement letter received on 1/11/2013 date 28/10/2013.

Called HO to see status of my application and lady i spoke to said application not on system yet.

Hope my application is in processing

Acknowledgement Letter

I just received my acknowledgement letter today and i applied for naturalization on basis of being married to a BC.

On letter it say Application type AN(6)1

Shouldn't it be Application type AN(6)2

Gurus pls advice.

Emailed them and got a fairly quick response. Apparently due to high volume applications i should give it another week or two for payment to be processed if nothing has happened then i should contact them again. I received ilr on 22nd August 2013 after 6 Years DL.

I am getting my wedding registry done on October 12.

My fiance is a British Citizen.

Can i apply asap for Naturalisation once i am married in October or do i have to wait a year.
