For the first 8 years we have applied FLR via the Partner Route and the last few years she has been on the Family Planning Route - wi...

Does this apply to the FLR(M) also?
No. FLR(M) must meet the English and financial requirement.
Thank you!

There is no need of English test & financial requirement for flr fp route despite online form mistakenly asking that.
For clarity, it is only irrelevant and not applicable to the 10 year FLRF(FP) route.
+1
Does this apply to the FLR(M) also?

Re: FLR English Test Query

Expired tests can be used if it was used in a previous application AND the test and test provider is still on his approved list. So If instead of the A2 I take the B2 now (to submit with the FLR(FP)), I can reuse the same certificate when I make the ILR application in 2.5 years time? Please confirm...

Re: FLR English Test Query

As stated earlier that expired test will still be accepted only if it was previously accepted in the grant of visa. In ops case he don't need any English test because on flr fp route. An expired test which wasn't used or wasn't needed in the previous grant of visa won't be accepted. Hi, what do you...

Re: FLR English Test Query

Okay good to know. We will then take the B1 instead of the A2. Thank you, Shahbaz Year 2022 is bit far. Why not continue practicing to English language and book & pass the test just before applying ILR because if you won't use that test now which will expire in 2 years time. So you will have to red...

Re: FLR English Test Query

I think you require B1 and Life in the UK to qualify for ILR. Thanks for your response. Yes I understand that B1 and LIUK are required for ILR, but we will not be applying for this until 2022. My question is if we get the B1 now for the FLR (instead of A2), will it still remain valid for the ILR or...

Re: FLR(M) or FLR(FP)

I did initially try to apply for ILR, but the test centre didn't allow her to take the 'Life in the UK test' as we could not provide the specific prerequisite documents they required (council tax bill, bank statement etc, in her name); I am the sole income earner and (at the time) were living with f...

FLR(M) or FLR(FP)

Hi, My wife has the right to stay in the UK under FLR for 10 years before she can apply for ILR. She is in her 4th year and needs to apply for an extension however I am confused as to what document I need to fill in for the extension: FLR(M) or FLR(FP) - can someone please advise? Thanks D4109125. The only other source I have is the Child benefit letter from HM Revenue for our son. Is it worth trying to get my payslips transferred to the new address also? @aa786, contact your bank and get your address changed. Then request for them to send you statements from the past year sh...

I have just contact my bank and got my address transferred over. I have also requested statements be sent out to me covering sporadic intervals over the last 2 years.

Will this be enough?

ILR - Evidence of Cohabitation

Dear All, I am currently in the process of applying for ILR for my wife whose 2-year Visa is coming to term in a couple of weeks. I have a few concerns with the evidence of co-habitation section of the ILR form SET(M). Our situation is such that we have been living with relatives (my Aunt) during th...
