My hubby and myself may not be interested in applying for citizenship but would like to do so for my 8 years old son. Is it possible to apply for citizenship for my child alone when both of us as parents hold only...

Thanks for reading my post. My initial entry clearance(tier 2) was granted on 20/01/2010 and my date of entry in UK was 05/04/2010(within 90 days). Am I eligible to apply for ILR on 28 days before 20/01/2010? My current leave is valid till 03/2017. Also, in Set 0 form, When did you (the main applica...

A minor clarificaiton please

I am on Tier 2 and going to apply for ILR. My salary is credited on or last working day before 22nd each month but my all salary slips state the payment date as end of month(30 or 31). Can this be an issue while caseworker matches it with my bank statement? Do I need a seperate letter from employer?...

Resigning on the same day of getting ILR

Hi Experts, Due to terms and conditions(joining date) of my new offer, I have landed myself in a situation where I need to plan to resign on the day of applying ILR in person. If I get the approval letter for ILR via PEO appointment, would it be safe to resign with my current employer on that day or...

Allowances vs Benefits - Wierd situation

In my CoS, allowances were marked as zero apart from the basic salary. When I joined the new employer, now they give me X% of my basic as benefits which I can get as taxable salary as well every month(if i don't opt for benefits). Is it counted as allowances and should be marked in CoS? Will it be a...

Hello Guys, I am currently on Tier 2 which is due to expire soon and I will be applying for its extension. It looks like I need to travel in the month of my Visa expiry and apply for extension after I come back. My question is will it be an issue at Immigration checks if I am entering the country in...
