Re: A priority Tier 2 app that's still pending for almost A YEAR NOW

This is what I was about to suggest. First: exhaust al the complaint processes. e-mail UKVI customer service, call the Call Center and get a log number for your call. and keep record of everything. Find who is your local MP by googling it, then e-mail him with all the details. they will contact the ...

Re: A priority Tier 2 app that's still pending for almost A YEAR NOW

quick question: did you apply from within UK or outside UK? I might be able to give you few hints to escalate things up if you applied from within UK. i am in a similar situation, but more straightforward. awaiting 9 months so far. but managed to escalate everything up and got an e-mail today asking...

Re: Amending a Tier 2 Visa Application

If you applied through Priority Service, it should be fine. I made the same mistake before and the emailed me telling me gheIHS number is an old one. And I just payed for a new one and e-mailed them back. I got no clue about the Postal Standard service. Cause the case workers are off the grid and th...

Re: Urgent advice for changing postal application to priorit

What I did was: apply for the Priority the normal way. Send them an e-mail with a performs attached to your e-mail at 8:30 am. No payment section at all. They will send you an automatic e-mail with your reference Priority service number, you reply to that e-mail and say you already have an applicati...

taking a second job under Tier 2

Looking for help clarifying this point I understand that under Tier 2 you only allowed to take a second job if it is in the same code and up to 20 hours/week. my question is: are the 20 hours calculated on a weekly basis or a monthly basis? . if the second job will not be a regular weekly one, for e...

Re: Tier 2 Extention Major Delay more than 90 days

Hey! Any luck with your visa? I didn't get lucky with the Visa yet, and my Local MP has contacted the minister himself. And it looks like it made an effect cause they sent me the complexity letter 2 days ago. On the other hand, I started my new job. I got lucky by asking my employer to run Right To...

Re: Tier 2 Extention Major Delay more than 90 days

Thank you!!! one other thing that might help. in case your application is being considered currently and approved or about to be approved , as you have a deadline for your job offer. you can ask your employer to run a Right To Work Check on you, using your details, date of birth, full name, applica...

Re: Tier 2 Extention Major Delay more than 90 days

My local MP replied me that Home Office replied saying: information has been requested from other agencies out of the Home Office. I dunno what does this mean. anyone faced this scenario before? Thanks for a prompt reply. How did you contact your MP? I have never come across.. And what did you tell...

Re: Tier 2 Extention Major Delay more than 90 days

I think might be the cause as you mentioned. But still it shouldn't take around 16 weeks to sort this out. This COS I used in my application is a total new one and the RLMT has been conducted according to the regulations as verified with my employer prior to the application. I did have to resign fro...

Re: Tier 2 Extention Major Delay more than 90 days

probably you can request your local MP to get involved. If he/she sends request your case may soon be finalized. I wish someone had told me this earlier. would have saved me tons of time and stress. I did as you suggested. amazingly, The MP office contacted me next morning after i sent my e-mail. t...

Was wondering if you applied through Standard postal service or Priority.
Did you also contact their Customer Service and escalate the issue?

Re: Urgent Help. Tier 2 Refused

If you haven't given notice to your current employer, the unsuccessful application will NOT affect your current visa. You can still work for your current employer as long as your current visa is valid and even extend it before it expires should you wish to do so. Not doing a RLMT for a change of em...
