Where did you get the ASHE median salary for each of the roles, can you share the link please? Does this mean, for someone applying for a PM rol...

Re: Skilled worker Going rates

Thank you. I just came across this information confimring going rates to increast to median salary for all new entrants, however for exising skilled worker visa holder they will continue to be at 25th percentile, so they may see some increase but not massive. It will impact those already in the U.K. on the skilled worker route. These changes will not be retrospective.
do we know for certain that a wider review of all going rates is beign done? The last revision was back in Aug 2023, not long ago.

Hi there, I understand that MAC (Migration Advisory Committee) is reviewing the SOL. As part of this exercise or wider immigration related updates, is the Home Office reviewing going rates for other occupation codes that are not on the SOL. If the rates are being revised, would these impact those al...

Re: CoS date - SW extension

You can apply for a Skilled Worker visa extension 60 days before the expiry of your current visa. The COS is valid for 3 months, so it should not be assigned too early to ensure it covers to the date of application. Thanks, and what should be the start date for the new CoS? My current CoS was issue...

CoS date - SW extension

Hi, I am due to apply for SW visa extension later this year. Just had two questions: Date on CoS Current BRP expires on 15 Aug 2024, so I assume the new CoS should start from 16 Aug, correct? My current CoS was issued until 1 Aug 2024, however, BRP had 2 extra weeks on it. How soon can I apply for e...

I want to know, do I need to pay again IHS fee of my family on changing employer or their current fee will be adjusted? And, if I have t...

Re: New immigration rules

Came across this yesterday https://commonslibrary.parliament.uk/research-briefings/cbp-9920/ Apparently the Government is making plans to have 'Transitional arrangements' for those who are already in the UK and they may be exempt from this. Please see below the question that was asked in the parliam...

It should be automatically refunded in 6-8 weeks, however, last year it didn't happen in my case and I had to escalate this via their contact centre.

Re: NHS IT Roles (New Skilled Worker threshold change)

Thank you. By any chance, would you know if NHS would be willing to withdraw the COS if I dont take up the job and go for another job. I am sure they would, but you would need to inform them if you are no longer interested. To qualify for skilled worker visa on new salary thresholds, I think you ne...

Re: NHS IT Roles (New Skilled Worker threshold change)

Hi, I have been offered a Band 6 position for NHS IT role (Non-Clinical Staff) and they would be giving me a COS. I have a couple of questions: 1. Will NHS IT roles be exempted from the Minimum Threshold (£38,700) as the new immigration rules states that NHS workers and National Pay Scales will be ...

Re: New immigration rules

If you have valid visa until 2026, I don't think they can curtail your visa in between and ask you to go back if you do not make 38k. However, we are unsure about whether the new changes would be applied retrospectively (doubt it), and whether those in the UK would be affected by this, or are these ...

Thank you both. Can you please also confirm when the 'continuous period' starts? so in our case, the BRP were issued on 1 Nov 2021, and we (self, partner and daughters) arrived here on 15 Nov 2021. From which date the 5 year period starts? I understand as per the current guidance we can apply for IL...
