Re: Naturalisation Application Over Six Month

Thank you to the forum members for suggesting to contact MP.
My MP contacted HO on the 17/06/2014 and his office staff followed up HO on 08/07/2014. Today I got the approval letter. Its disappointing that I didn't hear anything for 7 months and got the letter soon after contacting MP.

Hi Everyone, I applied for my naturalisation on 2nd December 2013 through NCS. Fee deducted 21st Jan 2014 (acknowledgement letter dated 21 Jan 2014). Still not heard anything from Home Office. Wondering if I should give them a call to check the status. What should be my reply if they simply say that...

New Engligh Language Requirements for Naturalization

Hello Everyone, Hope all memebers are doing good. I just wondered if anyone had a look at the changes for ILR and Naturlization applications that will be effective 28 October 2013. I and my wife got ILR on 19/11/2012 and had passed Life in the UK Test. Would we need to take english language qualific...

Thank you very much sushdmehta for your very help. I appreciate that. In case if I end up applying for my wife through FLR(M), if that is ever the case, then what additional English language requirements she needs to meet, to what level and what would be the quickest way to achieve this.
