He/she does not need to send original passport of employer to home office for visa renewal.copy of employer passport and other supporting documents are sufficient for visa renewal. He/she must send visa application before the expiry date.

You can visit Pakistan with Pakistani and British passport. You don't need NICOP or Pakistan visa for your visit. My wife visit pak last month with both Pakistani and British passport.
