Re: IHS query

Any suggestions? I did write to UKVI but their response was (I assume they did not even look at my query in detail) to submit new application and pay visa fees and IHS fees (seems like a standard response for any queries)

Dear forum members, I am in a confusing situation with regards to IHS. Following might help understand: My wife's partner visa application appointment is on 07-Mar-2016 in Delhi (in the future). I did an application and paid visa fee and IHS fee. I had to cancel this application due to a field that ...

Re: Settlement visa for wife - queries

You're probably right. I'll think about this in a bit more detail. However, in case we do decide to wait another month do you know if the application date is when documents are submitted at VFS center or when we submitted the application online (in which case I'll have to go through the painful proc...

Re: Settlement visa for wife - queries

Thank-you for responding CR001 however since my current employment is only 5 months old I do not have 6 months payslip and bank statements. So, I'm providing the details of my limited company for the period before that. Do you think this is Ok?

Thanks.

Settlement visa for wife - queries

Hello forum members, My wife came to UK on a visitor visa in Dec-2015 (as we had recently got married and settlement visa takes time so we thought it best for her to join as visitor). She went back to India in Jan-2016 and we are now applying for her settlement visa. I have the following queries: 1....

Re: Fiancé visa

Thanks CR001 for the clarification. Would you by any chance know if the processing times remain same throughout the year or there are times when visas get processed quickly? I tried to look at data for various places but couldn't conclude anything.

Thanks iD. Does anyone have an experience of whether they ask for any proof of such absences at the immigration when you return?

Travel outside UK after ILR

Hi, I was granted ILR in Dec-2012 and then had to travel outside UK for work in Feb-2013. Due to my work it looks like I'll be away for atleast a few more months. As per my understanding the rules are that I can stay outside UK for up to 2 years with the ILR without having any issues in returning. H...
