because we have had our other child’s new OCI (submitted on the same day) back! Why one and not the other? Any reason to be worried?
Can you kindly help with timeline of your other child please?
I have applied for new OCI for kid and will be helpful to know.

Visitor visa online documents upload after application submission

I submitted UK visitor visa application for my family member start of July; and for documents upload, application mentioned that I can return to website and upload the documents later. Though, it didn't allow me unless I uploaded "some document aka non-blank page" so I uploaded passport copy to ensu...

Re: Photocopy of all documents SET(O) - T1 dependent

Thank you CR001

There is no minimum fund requirements for ILR application for dependent as I understand.
SET(O) still asks about "your finances".

Does it mean I need to carry three months of bank statement with me?
Does it need to be from two sources i.e. payslips + bank statement combined?

Photocopy of all documents SET(O) - T1 dependent

I am preparing for T1 dependent ILR.

Somewhere on forum, I read that I need to have photocopy set of document as well.

If true, do I need to photocopy all the "cohabitation documents" which are essentially payslips, insurance letters, general letters etc?

Which Form? How rigid is cohabitation proof requirement?

First, my case - I am a british citizen via T1(G) - 5 year route now. My spouse is on T1(G) - dependent from Feb-2013. Spouse is in full time employment (essentially NI every month). 1. I should use SET(O) form as spouse is PBS dependent. Is that correct? 2. Spouse current extension started May-2015...

online status is undecided but passport fee is taken

I applied by JCAP as a straight forward application in mid-June. online status for my citizenship application is showing as undecided (Decision awaiting). However, I got a letter on 03 Nov saying my passport payment fee could not be taken. I called them and payment passport fee is taken on 20th Nov....

Re: 30 hours Childcare for non-EEA national

Will it apply if I am on ILS and wife is still T1-dependent? Since I am on ILR, am I eligible for 30 hours? I'm British citizen and wife is in ILR and wondering if we will be eligible for the 30 hour childcare. Apologies, UK specific website guidance is not too clear for specific cases; and thus que...

Re: JCAP Appointment tomorrow - Final checks

RE Health visitor DoB - if you know actual DoB, keep it handy and discuss during appointment. Its better to leave it blank rather than wrong DoB as second option. Its been a while (MN1/JCAP for my child), so don't know where I got information from BUT i submitted a letter of consent from both parent...

Re: Documents for naturalisation

If we refer page 28-30 of Form_AN_02-17, Section 3 mentions passports OR letters from employers etc. I assume for non-EU passport should suffice as passport will have stamps on it. I am still submitting employers' letter for simplicity and only "additional documents". Section 7 mentions "evidence of...

Good bit was passport came back in 3rd day (in 48ish hours) from submission day. Two appointments had two different times on it (12ish & 14ish) as this is what VF...

I am trying to get appointment for standard visitor visa at VFS Hyderabad. Re: 5 years: Long Term Entry or Multi-Entry Tourist Visa?

We need to fly next month and no OCI plans for now.
visa now + OCI later is around same cost of 5-year visa +/- 50 quids.

Thus, looking for differences in two visa options please..

5 years: Long Term Entry or Multi-Entry Tourist Visa?

Post is about a child who is holding british passport now; and earlier held Indian passport which has been surrendered. Parents hold Indian passport in UK. For India visit plans, it makes sense to have 5-year 180days max visa as (1) OCI is slow process and (2) no plan to stay for kid for more than 1...

For benefit of forum for "name change VS passport surrender".

Kid's passport arrived (without any text message though). No proof of Indian passport surrender asked.

Re: Tight timelines - speeding up Brit-Passport (NCAP)

Thank you for reply.. hope so.
It seems SMS is not 'sure shot' way of progress. By reading other people here, it seemed SMS comes instantly around registration certificate time.

Registration certificate got New name on it so its clean enough.

Tight timelines - speeding up Brit-Passport (NCAP)

I got registration certificate issued on 14-09-2016 by post on 17-09-2016. But no news/sms/email update on British passport status as of 19-...

Without much information you provides here, 'tax calculation sheet' may be one possibility. It took 10 calendar says to arrive after phone request for...
