Proof of English Language (Since you said he was on PSW, I would assume he had a degree/masters taught in the UK. ) If you have all the passports covering the 10 year period, the above document...

Re: short of 78 days for ILR 10 years

Hi, You have three options here to go for ILR. (Assuming that the rules stay the same) Option 1 (This can be chosen only if you husband's salary will be be greater than or equal to £35,500 at the time of ILR application and his employer is willing to employ him) : Get a Tier-2 Visa Extension before ...

Re: Urgent information needed Tier2 general extension

Hi, Is your employer prepared to increase your salary to experienced rate £27,500? If so, you can do the following: Since the COS has already been assigned, you will not be able to edit it. Also you have time till 15th Feb 2017. You will need a new CoS with the correct Job title, SOC code, job descr...

Re: Curtailment letter not Received_how to follow up?

There is nothing to worry about. Hopefully, the UKVI has your current address, which should have been provided to them by your employer at the time of informing the curtailment. It is not uncommon for the curtailment letter to arrive late, sometimes many months. Your curtailment of leave will start ...

In theory it should not have any impact.

If you got paid for only 15 days, you tax return will also be for only 15 days.

1. I'm awaiting the CoS from my employer/sponsor, is it safe to travel to the UK on a tourist visa (already have) while my work permit application has been submitted ? You can travel to the UK as a visitor, but you have to go back to India if you want to apply for work VISA. 2. Would the travel have...

Re: What to put in CoS

Hi,

In the past I have switched from PSW to Tier-2 which was also exempt from RLMT.

At that time my employer called HO who advised to do the following.

Tick RLMT done. In the RLMT details mention that the employee is exempt from RLMT as switching from Tier-4 to Tier-2.

Re: If Job extends with same employer beyond the dates of Co

The length of stay you get on your BRP will be in-line with what your employer has stated in the COS. In your case, if the employer stated that you are required for only one year, you and your dependants will only get a VISA for 1 year. 1. In case my job extends with the same employer for more than ...

First of all, you need to be clear about where he is going to stay. You said that It is near impossible that my husband will be entitled to stay in the same lodging i will be staying in. If this is the case, where is he going to stay? Hotel? Relatives? Do you have anything in mind? Will this be a pr...

Re: Urgent..Job title and SOC code can be different tier 2 g

Looking at the descriptions between the SOC codes 3538 and 3534 they seem to be doing almost the same kind of job tasks. And again there is a fine line how how you interpret the responsibilities. But the good thing is that the salary rates are much higher for 3534 (Salary rates: New entrant: £20,500...

I better tick in criminal section as no, then mention it in white section. Should it be right thing thing to do? This is a better idea. There have been similar cases in the past where the applicant ticked No in the criminality section and mentioned about the FPN in the cover letter. This is the saf...
