Hi everyone,

Just an update. I recently received my visa approval. Like what neuron said, the waiting time is way shorter than what's published on the INIS website.

I don't think it matters where you're from as they process the visa based on a first come, first served basis. The website says Join Spouse should be processed within six months, but can take up to 12 months if they need to verify some docs, etc. Mine took nearly four months. It sounds like a short ...

I was in Eastern Europe. I don't think it has to do with location, as all the applications get sent to Dublin. I completely understand how unbearable the waiting time is - I was in Ireland a good two months before my Missus could join me, and I was at my wit's end by that time. Good luck! Oh dear. ...

No sure how accurate the "Current processing times" page is, at least with regards to Join Family visas. We had to wait 3 months for my wife's visa to be approved, even though, according to the processing times page, we should have waited approx. 5 months. Where are you based though? Maybe it has s...
