Re: Confirmation of biometrics appointment

I don't like being too specific with information related to the application on a public forum. Call me paranoid. We submitted the application within (i.e. less than) 28 days prior to completing 5 calendar years in the UK (if that is what you are driving at). Yes, entry to the UK was on the 33 months...

Re: Confirmation of biometrics appointment

At the end of May 2014 on the 5 year route. We submitted the stamped and signed LIUK test pass notification letter, and degree certificate from a UK university which meets the requirements for English language test. We haven't moved since the latest application. We did move between the previous appl...

Confirmation of biometrics appointment

My spouse submitted an application for ILR (at the earliest permissible date) in April, and attended the BRP appointment with UKVCAS and submitted all the scanned documents shortly thereafter. We never received any confirmation in writing that the documents had been submitted (from UKVCAS to the Hom...

Application wait time

Hi, My spouse submitted the ILR application [ set(M) ], and attended biometrics appointment with UKVCAS in May. It's been over 3 months, and well over 60 working days. We haven't had anything back from the Home Office yet. How long are we supposed to wait before contacting HO? I can't seem to find a...

Re: Settlement Visa - which appendix to complete and form

Thanks SoHopeful. For my wife's visa application we are completing Appendix 2 just to be safe of course. Doesn't hurt to complete the form anyway. I've also completed the sponsorship undertaking form, even though it is only supposed to be for Adult Dependent relatives. As far as I understand things ...

Re: List of supporting documents for spouse visa

Melhan, thanks for your PM. Unfortunately as a new member apparently I cannot access the PM feature so I have no idea what you have sent me. I guess there is a minimum number of posts or something - quite frustrating. Maybe a moderator could explain?

Re: Settlement Visa - which appendix to complete and form

It is my understanding from hours of trawling through information on the gov.uk website, (and formerly the UKBA website), that the Sponsorship Undertaking Form (SU07) is only relevant in the case of adult dependent relatives. The term "adult dependent relatives" is defined elsewhere in the rules, bu...

Re: List of supporting documents for spouse visa

Sorry to bump an old thread. Although I don't think it will do much harm as the list of evidence provided in the first post would be very useful for many applicants. My wife is on the verge of submitting her visa application and I am about to write a letter of support as her sponsor.I see batleykhan...
