Re: Naturalisation Reconsideration approved - Refund amount less than paid?

Alright so I double checked my account from which I paid the Application fees (Bank statement reads - £2564 to Natiopnality Direct) initially. However we never received the ceremony fees when we had refusal. I am assuming this could be problem as we had our applications 1st approved, however after w...

Re: Naturalisation Reconsideration approved - Refund amount less than paid?

Hi thanks for the quick response, does that mean we have a private ceremony if we are paying for it? Or £80 is the normal charge for ceremony? Sorry if I sound as noob

Thanks

Naturalisation Reconsideration approved - Refund amount less than paid?

Hi there, We just had our Naturalisation Reconsideration approved. The form NR reads you get refund of your application if the decision gets turned around. So as we did pay £321+321= £642 for both of us for NR fees... Is that not what we should expect to get it refunded? Asking as we received the re...

Re: Naturalization refused due to no fault of my own

Update : So the good news is we have had decision reversed, i.e approved now! :) Yes we did come back to UK (my wife and family in 4.5 months and myself in just below 6mths). We had submitted with all the reasons as mentioned above and the pendrive containing the call recording of the officer that m...

Re: Naturalization refused due to no fault of my own

Yes we did get passports sent over before booking any oath ceremony. We had an approval letter sent, however after we updated them on dates of our return travel from NZ they disapproved our approval reasoning 'future intentions' in doubt. Again yes so we had approval, then we're sent out passports w...

Re: Application Approved and then refused!!

Have you actually received notification from HO that your nationality is being revoked or is it from HMPO that they are doubting your future intentions to live in the U.K.? In both cases, you will need to provide supporting evidence that you do intend to make UK your home. There is a quite similar ...

Re: Application Approved and then refused!!

Did you apply for the passport without naturalisation certificate? firt passport is usually issued after conducting an identity check interview. Where did you attend the interview? Re: Application Approved and then refused!!

It appears to have gone wrong, you could have left it and take time off to come for your ceremony, it is going to be hard to convince the HO about future intentions, you probably have to return into the country and then follow it up with the proof of short term contracts and all, it is weird HMPO w...
