thanks lucapooka, my landlady pays the council tax and electricity so i am hoping this will not be a problem.

all my P60s and payslips, bank and other bills however are addressed to me personally so i think this should be sufficient, do you agree as well?

i am past the 3 months mark which i presume spells trouble.

let's try and figure this out, i have no criminal records or any other trouble whatsoever, there must something in common between us all that is delaying the application.

could it be:

country you're from?
previous martial status?

Anyone waiting for BC more than 3 months?

hello everyone,

any one wonders why some of us get approved within 6 weeks and others take a lot longer?

if we start sharing the common denominator between those of us who are waiting for more than 3 months then we can start to understand how this process works.

Hi everyone. I will apply for BC in a week, but I have a BIG problem. I can't remember the required details of my ex-marriage. Her name and place of birth are the only things that I can recall as it was a bad marriage which took place 16 years ago when I was very young and lasted short of one...

"pending security checks" is just a general description of a stage that involves checks from various organisations. It can last several weeks to several months until the case is allocated to a case worker for a decision. Not sure what you are after but if this is an answer to where your application...

the logic behind the time it takes to get BC

hi guys, either the process of applying for BC is completely random or there is some logic behind it, am i correct in thinking that someone from an EU country applying for BC will take less time than if that person was from the middle east? i dont understand why that is especially when we know that ...

I think it's not a question of pattern, it is partly luck but partly the application itself. Things like applicant citizenship, occupation/status (employed, unemployed, on benefits, tax situation...) do matter I think. One may think her/his application is straightforward because she/he meets all th...

The question doesn't actually ask the reason for the 'divorce'. It asks the reason for the marriage ending. In which case, 'divorce' would be sufficient..with the place and date as per the court divorce decree. Another reason could be 'annulment' for example. thanks, but it still doesnt make sense,...

reason for the divorce?
