Re: Employment letter for non-salaried income

Sorry to trouble you all again, just in process of uploading the documents and want to ask if combining pictures of passport pages as one PDF document would be fine or do home office prefer each document to be a single separate attachment.

Many thanks

Hi, I have a quick question please. We are doing an ILR set (m) application and the income falls under non-salaried, as pay is based on an hourly rate. HO ask the employer to provide the gross yearly income, the employer has provided the hourly rate but not the gross on the letter. Shall I get them ...

Hi everyone, Hope you're well and a happy new year to you all. I have a quick question, I want to sponsor my aunty from Pakistan to come here on a visitor visa. Re: Universal credit spouse visa will it effect the visa

Get DWP to write a letter and confirm that your wife is not getting paid UC and it's only yourself and I would also add the letter if you still have it which says she's not entitled to anything because of her immigration status :)

Re: Pakistan Red List

I don’t think it’s reasonable to write “I hear turkey will go on the red list” I don’t think it’s reasonable to write “everyone is going there” unless you have access to some database that monitors movements of Indian and Pakistanis with UK citizenship that travelled lately. I am not being defensiv...

Re: Pakistan Red List

I am hearing that Turkey will be on the red list in May aswell Unless you heard this from the health secretary then it’s ill advised to make such ridiculous ascertains. Given that everyone from Pakistan / India are going there, it's only a matter of time. No need to get defensive about it  . I...

I’ve spoken to my solicitor and he told that my wife can still come over while Pakistan is in red list since she has a spouse visa.

Only matter will be finding available flights to UK.
But she'll need to quarantine in a hotel for 10 days, right?

Re: Do Universal Credit and Carer's Allowance count for the adequate maintenance income requirement?

Hi, I'm just wondering if payments from UC and Carer's Allowance count for the adequate maintenance income requirement. If so, does the sponsor have to have been in receipt of these for a certain amount of time, and are there any other considerations? Thanks Carers allowance counts but I don't thin...

Re: Pakistan Red List

Hi This is precisely my problem. My wife should receive her visa within 4 weeks and there is no way I will be paying an additional £1750 so she can be in a jail aka quarantine by herself in London. We will wait until it’s removed off the red list and seek an extension to the validity of the visa - ...

Thank you. According to the link as above: “If a person holds a visa for the UK then they may have “residence rights” and so be treated as exempt from the “red list” rules. • Settled or pre-settled status under the EU Settlement Scheme” As I’m settled here under EU settlement scheme, will my wife b...
