Fiance Visa Approved! Thanks for help.

Hi, My Australian fiance applied for her fiance visa on the 12th July and she's got an email this morning saying that it has been approved and is being posted back to her. Very surprised at the speed of this as they didn't even receive our evidence folder until the 18th. They haven't asked her to in...

Thankfully they got it today!

Seems we were panicking over nothing. Was bloody worried though.

Not good though, meant to be a guaranteed before 12 next day delivery and it takes 2 days to get there. They're giving her a refund.

Sorry to panic.

Lost evidence folder?

OK, we may be panicking here but I'm a bit worried. My Australian fiance applied online for her fiance visa and then posted our evidence folder yesterday. She told the post office what was in the package and she wanted the best method of sending it. She sent it with guaranteed delivery in Canberra b...

Cheers for your help. Ah sorry I forgot to mention the letter. I've done a letter saying I am her sponsor, that I am prepared to support us and that we intend to marry. This also has a brief summary of how we met, when we have visited each other etc. I have said when we plan to marry and that we pla...

Well, there's no way I can go there, I have work and can't just take time off when I like. Chances are she'll have to post the stuff off cos she lives on completely the other side of the country to Canberra. We're pretty sure we have everything we need though so surely there won't be a problem. We h...

Fiance Visa

Hi, thanks for all your help so far. My Australian girlfriend is about to put in her fiance visa application. Two questions: 1) We have got all our documents together and I have them in a folder and am about to send them to her so she can add her stuff. What happens then? She applies online, will sh...

OK, well I went to the bank on my way home from work and asked them if they could print my statements off and they printed off 6 months of statements. To be honest there's not that much difference between these and the ones I printed from the internet. Maybe I should go back and ask them if they cou...

Do I not need to get anything else certified then such as the bank statements or pay slips? Those really do need to be originals, rather than copies. Birth certificate, obviously a solicitor does not need to certify that as the local Registrar has already done that. You will no doubt each be writin...

Cheers. Sorry I wasn't clear, it's a copy of my birth certificate I obtained from the register office for £7. So it does name my parents and everything. Do I not need to get anything else certified then such as the bank statements or pay slips? I assume the lack of MSN convos or phone records won't...

Fiance application

Hi,I've posted before about my Australian girlfriend applying for a fiance visa. We're now about to begin the application and I've been getting all my things together to send to her. I just wanted to post a list of what I have put together to see if anyone has any suggestions of things I could add o...

Ah OK nice one. Well, we've decided anyways that she'll go back to Australia and apply for the visa instead of coming back for another month. Thinking the sooner we get it done with the sooner she'll be back. I'm going to start getting my stuff together (passport, birth certificate, pay slips etc) a...

Yeah we know she has to go back to Australia to get the fiance visa. On the Austalian website it says processing time is 3-4 weeks. I assume this means she could maybe get the visa within a month so only have to be away for that ammount of time. I guess she's always got in because she's always had a...

Thank you. We are planning on getting a fiance visa but she wanted to come back for one more visit before she went back to Australia. So far she's spent 132 days here since October. I guess this means she has 50 days left. If she came back for another month for example would this impact the chances ...

OK so how do we work this out? Would we start counting from the first October visit? So she has already spent 132 days here. So between now and October 2007 she can only spend another 48 days here? Is that correct?
Or does it start from January to January? Sorry, I'm not sure how to work it out.

Ah thank you. My girlfriend has been here on vistors visa and went to the doctors and they charged her. I'd been told that the fiance visa gives the same health care as a visitor visa.

OK, I've found since that it's apparently a very good idea to have some kind of booking made for the wedding. Is it possible to provisionally book at the register office without having to give documents and things? Another question also, on the fiance visa will she have proper access to health care?...

OK thank you. I hope not having a booking for the wedding or anything isn't a big problem. I'd really like to find this out. She's visited here quite a few times and has her tickets, we don't have hotel bookings though. We've loads of photos though, think I've got one of her with my mum too. She's h...

Fiancee Visa

Hi, I have an Australian girlfriend and we wish to live together in the UK. It appears that the only way we can do this is to get married. We've discussed this and have agreed that we would be happy to marry. She is going to go home and apply for a fiance visa. What kind of supporting documents are ...

Thank you, sorry for the lateness of the reply I've not been around for a while. I don't think she could get HSMP or a sponsor too easily. I've also heard that there are places you can get married and not need to go through big procedures and things. I think one place I heard was Thailand. Are there...

Australian moving to UK

Hi, I have an Australian girlfriend and she is currently over here on a 6 month visitors visa. She has to go back home soon and wants to move over here so we can be together. We've been looking at the options and she hasn't any british relatives so cannot get in that way and she isn't in the age ran...
