dear rmukherjee many thanks for the tips. I guess, my surrender appointment is this week. the online visa is only applicable for 1 month travel. however, we wish to travel for more than 2 months. so, i guess the only option is to fix a tourist visa appointment once the surrender certificate turns up...

Thank you! The treatment was carried out between 5th - 10th of September 2016. £500 deposit was paid while the patient was in hospital. i got a reply from vfs india that children under the age of 5 must visit the centre for the biometrics to be taken. hence, my question is answered - either of the parent need to be with the baby (1/2 months old) while applying for RoA-CoE
