I lived in UK for 11 months and I have been in Canada for 3 months now and let me tell you there is a lot of difference. If I had my way, I probably would have stayed in the UK but only because its just a 6 hour flight back to Nigeria than a 14 hour flight from Toronto. That said, my experience in C...

Canada also has long medical waiting times. both countries have their failings and honestly I will never understand why citizens of developed countries emigrate. For those of us from africa/asia, its apparent why we bother - no matter how bad the NHS or crime is in Uk ,its still 1 Million times bett...

The refun is not from NHS. the refund should be from inland revenue..I think.
You better visit their official site about the details, but I am sure the first few thousands that you earn should be free of tax. If you have been taxed on this , you are entitled to a refund

Finally, the big question is that..... According to the immigration rules... you must show intent to return to your homecountry. You cannot satisfy that requirement simply because you came in on a route that leads to settlement. How do you convince the HO that you no longer want to make UK your perm...

Find out from whoever sent your application through post in the uK to see if they can track the application. like I said earlier you can also track through the type of payment you used. I very much doubt if your documents will be sent to one address and your decision letter to another. It will be se...

I think you should learn from fardeep.
Apply as an out of country applicant but you can still be working while this is been processed.
You can then go back home to apply for EC, since it seems switching under student dependent is a dicey situation.

yes, you can get a dependant visa ( I believe an MBA is a 12/18months course)

which will allow you to work with no restrictions on the type of employment you can seek.
