Re: Speeding ticket after application submission

Thanks. I got the ticket issued by the garda themselves on the day before yesterday. I'm expecting the fine notice from them this week and will pay it. So, it should be there in their records anyway. I will try to get a good character report from my colleagues and send it to ISD. Shall I send it by ...

Speeding ticket after application submission

I got a speeding ticket and 3 penalty points this week after the application submission in March. Do I need to update this to the immigration department? If so, how I can inform this?

Also, how does it affects the ability to get citizenship? Can anyone share their experience?

Re: 2022 Naturalisation Application response

Glad someone got acknowledgement finally. I can see someone who submitted the application this year got the acknowledgment on the 2022 citizenship application thread.

2022 Naturalisation Application response

I hope a lot of us submitted the naturalisation applications with the scorecard approach starting this year. Has anyone got any type of acknowledgment or response from the Citizenship department? I'm wondering if no one got any response back? I cannot see any responses back from them on the timeline...

Re: Improved citizenship timelines in 2022? Bad sign...

This is not really related with naturalisation, but at this point Ireland can barely manage and handle immigration registration. Which is the most basic thing an immigrant needs to do legally yet it takes months to get an appointment, print registration cards or answer emails. State really love col...

Hi All, I'm planning to apply for citizenship based on my residence in Ireland and I have a few doubts about the citizenship calculator. They are now processing the applications for April. Due to the summer holidays, it is so so slow. They also advised not to submit the applications and passports until September 30th. I know a friend who applied on April 5th got the passport back a few days ago. But few other applicants haven't got t...

Citizenship Calculator - Calculation of the dates

I will be qualified to apply for naturalization in the next few months as it marks 5 years of my residency here in Ireland. I'm having few doubts regarding the duration calculator Is the "6 weeks rule" followed by the calendar year or the yearly cycle of the GNIB renewal? For me, it is from November...
