The child is also my wife’s nephew , his biological mother died about 5 years ago and he has been adopted from my wife’s brother . The adoption was certified in a Pakistani court by judge . It looks like Pakistan has not signed up to Hague convention Is this a problem please advise thanks

Guidance of documents required for immigration of a Pakistani child

Hi can anyone give guidance for the documents required for an 8 year old adopted child in Pakistan to immigrate into uk to live with his legal guardian mother . We have had court documents obtained from judge in pakistan . Any guidance help is greatly appreciated thanks

hi just to let you know the ECM has overturned the refusal decision and i got the calling letter by email this morning. Shadow please update the spreadsheet .i hope yours gets overturned too.

The land registry deeds are available to the public. The information on it can be easily verified and so does not required to be certified by a solicitor. I forwarded mine to my solicitor and she certified only those documents that required it (passport being an example). Anyway, like I said, there...

regrettably it could {and probably will} be used as one of the reasons for refusal. as well as a letter of intent from your dad a land registry document, mortgage document or tenancy agreement are acceptable. sad thing is land registry doc only costs £4.00 to obtain. i got mine certified by my sol...
