Mistake on online form

Hi, I have recently applied for a spouse visa for my wife(Chinese). However my lawyer submitted the online application with some mistakes on it the worst one being my wife's first and last name the wrong way round, she has advised us that this can be changed when she goes to her biometrics appointment by taking an amended application form to the application. As I have lost confidence in my lawyer can anyone confirm if this is correct?
