MN1 Form for UK Born Child, Parent on ILR

Post by avaixhah » Tue Aug 13, 2019 11:00 am

Hi,

I have recently received my ILR visa and now planning to apply my 2 years old daughter for naturalization. I have following questions.
Which form I need to fill in? does a 2 years old need to have bio metrics?
I will be eligible to apply for my naturalization within a year, if I wait for my naturalization does the baby get her naturalization automatically? or i still have to apply for her (just thinking of saving fee money)?

I would appreciate your response in this regard.
      thanks
      Syed

I have recently received my ILR visa and now planning to apply my 2 years old daughter for naturalization. I have following questions.
Children are Registered as British, not naturalised. Only adults are naturalised.
Which form I need to fill in? does a 2 years old need to have bio metrics?
Form MN1 online. Yes, child needs to enroll biometrics which is the digital photo only, no finger prints.
I will be eligible to apply for my naturalization within a year, if I wait for my naturalization does the baby get her naturalization automatically

      No.
or i still have to apply for her (just thinking of saving fee money)?
You still have to register the child as British as the child was born BEFORE you got ILR.
      Char (CR001 not Casa)
