MN1 Section 3(5)

Hi

I am applying for citizenship under section 3(5) for my kids. They are currently here on a family visa. They will have been here 3 years in January so I can apply then, their current Visas run out in April. If I apply for citizenship, will I have to renew their Visas if the application takes too long?
