Moving out of UK

Post by Kayyyyy123456 » Fri May 16, 2025 12:57 pm

Good afternoon guys, I’m on FLP 10 route since 2021 and my wife and kids are British. We will be moving out of Uk next year to USA. The offer come Green card for us. Please how can I still renew my FLP in the UK so that I can collect my ILR. I don’t want my FLP to reset please . I will appreciate all the advice .

You can't have your cake and eat it too! The simple answer is stay back in the UK and don't go.

Easy for me to say, I know.

Or simply bite the bullet, move to the US and come back in future and restart the process! You might be put on the 5 year route this time if y'all meet all the requirements.

No other way, guess you're up for FLR next year. Is that before you travel or after? If before, then you can renew. Go and come back in 2.5 years and try and renew again for the last time before you're due for ILR.
No sin in failing, you just have to try and try again!
