just a note to any one applying in Mumbai...
Beware the text/internet tracking system
Its not fail safe...
We've been waiting almost 3 months for them to process my husbands visa and after numerous periodic calls we were informed that my husband had been sent a letter to the VFS 2 weeks ago, and also his house, informing him of a date for his medical examination.
This did not show up on the text messaging or internet tracking system and he did not recieve a letter.
For sure, when he picks up his letter, he will have missed his appointment.
My Indian neighbour tells me that after our application he has has had two relatives processed within two weeks at Mumbai!
So we seem to have slipped under the net.
Anyway.. we are unlucky
