Name on passport printed incorrect! - Travel

Hi,

I applied my baby's British passport from overseas and it took 4 months to get it. Once we received we found out that HMPO have made a Mistake and the last name is printed incorrect by one character.

Now just want to check if it is ok to travel back to UK with this mistake and once we reach UK we get it changed? Could you please advise if we should do this or send the passport back and get it corrected As it will another 8 weeks....!
