Name spelt wrong

Hello,
I received my two years and half visa on October 2014 and it is lasting until July 2017 when I will have to apply for a new one. My wife is British and My visa is D-Spouse visa. I just realised today that my wife's name is spelt wrong on my visa, instead of Smyth it is spelt Smith. I am not really sure what I should do?

What must I do when I receive my biometric residence permit?

You must check your permit carefully when you receive it, to ensure that all the details on it are correct. If you find a mistake, you must email BRPerror@homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk within 10 working days of receiving the permit - otherwise you may be charged for a replacement and will have to apply again. You must provide us with the following details:
 full name;
 date of birth;
 nationality;
 passport number;
 contact telephone number;
 BRP reference number
 case reference number; and
 exactly what is wrong with the BRP.

No this is a D-Spouse visa printed on my passport and its my wife's name that is spelt wrong (one letter, instead of Y they did an I). Not sure what to do? I was advised to just keep it and apply with it for my next visa in 2017 (to get the visa that is before the indefinite leave to remain -not sure what it is called!-) and that it would not be a problem.
