UK NARIC conformation

I used the point based calculator to assess my qualifications for Tier1 (General) and I found my university and grade in its database. But someone sad me I must contact UK NARIC for a letter and confirmation certificate in addition. Is it true? Thanks

If the points based calculator gives you points for your degree, you need not get a letter of comparison from NARIC. Your original degree certificate is good enough.

It will be in your interest to read the policy guidance *carefully* and rely on your own understanding of the rules than on hearsay.
