EU National looses job while partner is applying for EEA2

Hi Guys
Can anyone shed some light on this topic for me?
I am an EU National and my partner and I have just applied for an EEA2 Residency Card. He was already in the UK on a tier 4 study visa and I followed him over to the UK after 3 months.
I got a job in February this year, and have just heard due to restructuring in the company I might loose my job.
Does anyone have info on how this would affect our application? When would we need to notify the HO, as we are still waiting for the letter to go for biometrics? Does this necessarily mean that the application will be rejected??
There's loads of info, but if anyone has been in a similar situation I would appreciate some help.

you need to update them on change of circumstance.

If they check with employer and establish that she is not working anymore, this may lead to refusal.
