Naturalisation and Tax Issues

Post by ca4fil » Tue Jun 24, 2014 2:00 pm

Hi guys,

I suppose to apply for my Naturalisaiton application next month. I am bit worried because earlier this year, I have received letter from tax office that I am underpaid tax back in 2008-09, so I have to fill in self assessment for last 5 years. I did that, and received letter from hmrc that I underpaid xx amount with an interest, which I have paid in ALL on the next day. Everything is paid now. Just wondering could that be a problematic for my application? Has somebody gone through same scenario?

Many thanks.

No problem if the payment has been settled.
