Naturalisation application appointments

Post by apsk » Fri May 10, 2019 7:55 am

Hi Experts

I just now (10th May) submitted my naturalisation application and as expected system redirected me to Sopra Steria website for appointment booking. To my surprise there is no appointment available till 6th June (Birmingham or Manchester), so not to miss that I booked it for now. Even paid appointments a'int available till 6th June.

Any suggestions/recommendations to find something sooner please? I was under impression we could easily find appointments in a week time. Please advise

Thanks in advance.

If I cancel my booked appointment, would I be able to see and perhaps reschedule to any earlier date if available? Just don't want to cancel and then find myself losing out on my application. Please advise.

And any particular time I should see for any availability of cancelled slots?

I have seen many members reporting the same about the availability of UKVCAS late appointments. Since now you have booked an appointment, I am not sure if you can cancel and rebook without loosing your fee. However, you can call UKVCAS and ask them. Having said that, probably its best to keep this appointment as there are delays in other centres also. The quickest I have seen is London Croydon or London Premium Lounge (extra cost) but then now there is no way you can look what are the availability even at London Croydon.

Hi all,

I tried to cancel and look for more closer appointment, but unfortunately nothing available, even I lost the one I had, so had to book for a day later now. Though I could see a few paid one's in Croydon but that would be too far to travel for me. Could you any (from experience of-course) advise, if it is possible to find any sooner appointment? Is it worth cancelling and looking or shall I just be contend with what I got which on 7th June now?

Thanks in advance

If you keep cancelling you most likely will be pushed even further down like you are pushed 1 day ahead. Unless you want to consider travelling far I would advise you to keep this now.
