Naturalisation application - no confirmation for children's application

Post by voxego » Tue May 04, 2021 4:59 pm

Hi,
I am hoping someone could shed some light on this.
I've applied online for UK naturalisation for myself, my husband and our two children. Straightforward application, both my husband and I had PR and have been employed in the UK for the past 10 years. Both children (4 and 6) born in the UK. Both myself and my husband have recently received confirmation our applications have been successful, with advice to wait for the ceremony letters, however we have not had any type of communication regarding our children's applications (also straight forward, kids have ILR etc). Is this usual practice and do I need to be patient and wait for a bit longer? All applications submitted at the same time, etc.

Thank you for your help

All applications are assessed separately, not as one family application (concept doesn't exist). So likely the childrens' certificates will arrive some time soon. So best to wait a while before trying to chase.
