Naturalization query

Hi everyone!
I got my ILR through spouse route (5years), when can I apply for Naturalization?

If you are married to a British citizen AND you meet all the requirements (absence limits, physically present etc) to apply under Section 6(2) spouse of BC based on 3 years residence, then you can apply now.

Naturalisation application

Hi all,

I recently received my ILR (spouse route 5 years). Received my BRP aswell.
My 5 years will be complete on 30th May 2019. When can i apply for Naturalisation?
Was going through the Naturalisation form i came across Referees section- Can the 1st Referee,which should be a professional - be a Manager? Or if it is an engineer does he have to have a certain certificate or can he be a professional engineer?

1. Spouse of British citizen is based on 3 years residence, so you can apply if you meet the requirements.

2. Depends what type of engineer the person is, useful to state this fact. The professional referee must be one from the HO list.

3. Please keep all your questions on the same application in one topic, both have been merged.
