naturalisation issue

Post by jejelaye » Fri Mar 28, 2025 2:00 pm

Hello all.
I need your advice regarding my application
I submitted my application for naturalisation on the 20th of January.
My biometric was done on the 24th of January
I have been waiting for reply from the home office since
I can see that many applications submitted after my own has been approved
should i call home office?. I am married to a British citizen.

Your application is still within the 6 months standard processing times. You may get your approval soon or you may have to wait for longer. There is little point in chasing before the 6 months have elapsed. Each application is assessed on its own and timelines are not comparable.
All advice comes from personal research and experience and should not be regarded as professional opinion.

That's understandable, but at this stage best to be patient.
