Naturalisation - previous immigration applications

Post by emmyden10 » Wed Apr 16, 2025 2:36 pm

Please I need an advice , I am applying for my Naturalisation online and I have been asked to list all my previous application to the home office which I don't remember .

Came to the UK in 2009 on a 3 and half year student visa and that application was make back home which I don't even have access to the email anymore, before my visa expired I got married to my first wife and make an application but it was refused but was given the right to appeal , while the appeal was going on she died , I met my current wife as she's someone I know registry ask for dead certificate when I wanted to get married again it was provided and after that we make a fresh application with new marrige cert and death cert and I was granted 5 year route. 2.5yr each , and after that I applied for ILR and was granted .

Now I remember the details of the ones with my current wife and one of my late wife but no clue about the one of my student visa from home I use to come but I have the picture of the visa page on my passport but not application dates and details .

Please any advice will be welcome , and anyone who have been in similar situation .

Provide any detail you can remember - this question is "if known".
If it's difficult to complete some of the boxes enter"n/a" and explain in a covering note.
It's not an issue, i.e. this is not something an applicant would be refused for.
This is just my opinion as a member of this forum and does not constitute immigration advice.
Please do not send me private messages asking for advice.

Thank you for your reply, I have now summited my application but I have one more question , I find out that one of my referee is out of the country and is due back in 3 weeks . This mean I cannot go for my biometric till he get back and sign the form . So my question is , does the 6 month decision timeframe starts from the day the application is make or from when the biometrics is done ?

He can sign your declaration via email, doesn't need to be in person. It is not entirely clear when timelines actually start, but 3 weeks doesn't make a massive difference anyway.
