Would also recommend looking at this thread for more info on citizenship application as a former overstayer https://www.immigrationboards.com/briti ... 33216.html, and where possible, best to request professional opinion from an immigration lawyer.

Thanks for the above. From what you’ve provided, it seems that I can apply. Maybe I should point out that I was arrested in 2009 and given a caution/NFA. I was about 18 at the time, and I’m 34 now. Can I still proceed with the application?

I would disclose but also elaborate on how your character is solid as you have been an overstayer as well.
