Naturalisation: References are not related to each other?

Dear all,

I am going to apply for my Naturalisation. I ask these two lecturers from the same university to act as my references. These two gentle folks for sure know each other as they are working at the same university. Do you think they are considered as "related to each other"?

Reading in the AN Guide it says: Each referee should not be related to the other referee. I do not know if this is the case mentioned above? Please advise me this.
