Naturalisation Residence question 2.1

Hey guys..

My husband first came to the UK on a visit visa in 2009 and stayed for 5 months approx.

He came again in 2012 as my spouse on settlement visa. Now the following question on the AN form asks:

2. Residence requirements

2.1 Date and place of first arrival in the United Kingdom: Date: Place:

What date should I put down? 2009 or 2012?

You need to put the first day your husband entered the UK with the view of staying permanently i.e. 2012
