Naturalisation - submitted application and biometrics

Post by Didaka » Mon Jul 13, 2020 6:27 pm

Hi
I submitted online me and my child's application and attended a biometrics appointment on 29th of February. I applied as a spouse of a British citizen and included my child. We both have permanent residence documents. I have started to get worried as I still haven't received a decision nor any contact.
Please, advise me on what I should do next. Do I need to wait until the end of the six month period or is it a good idea to contact the Home Office now?
If I am to contact them would someone please tell me the official email to do so.

Thank you so much!

By all means try - this email address is quoted regularly: NationalitySupportTeamFMT@homeoffice.gov.uk

You should wait 6 months before asking for an update. Most likely you will get a decision within the 6 months that is the normal timeline.
