Naturalisation

Post by asimuk » Wed Apr 09, 2025 12:55 pm

hello everyone i was waiting for my naturalisation outcome since November 2023 and after so many emails and complaints .IEC and UKVI agreed to conclude my application within 3 months so what is best option for me to agreed for 3 months time period or take it to further .im looking for your kind advice on this matter. here the response from UKVI and IEC.
Dear .........,

I hope you are well.
UKVI have now responded to the resolution plan that we sent to them on 01 April 2025.

We proposed that UKVI:
The complainant has told our office that they would like UKVI to provide a timeframe for when a decision will be made on their application for Naturalisation.
UKVI have agreed:

UKVI have confirmed that they agree to conclude your application within 3 months of the closure letter being received from this office, barring exceptional circumstances.

Could you please let me know if this action will resolve your complaint?

If this does not resolve your complaint, I will request your case papers and your complaint will wait to be allocated to an investigator.

I look forward to hearing from you.
Kind regards,
Xxx

You can agree to this (hoping they respect it, which of course is not a given...) or ask to escalate it further. Did you ask them to provide a timeframe, or is this something they have offered? If one wanted to be picky, if you requested this they are now providing it, so not being happy with the conclusion might come across as disingenuous or confused on your part (though it is their fault for holding your application for so long). If this is not the case, or if you don't care much about going back on what you had initially asked (as I am sure more time has elapsed since that request) you can escalate this further. After all, they have promised you that the application should be decided in only 3 months "barring exceptional circumstances"......

There is really no way to know. I have never seen them promising to give a decision by a certain date. It is up to you, as I advised above, if you want to accept this or escalate the complaint.
