Naturalisation through MN1 lost BRP

Post by ElliB » Sat Feb 11, 2023 1:06 pm

Hello

I am British by descent. My son is in UK on a dependent visa. I need to apply for his naturalisation through the MN1 form. I have 2 questions,
1 - I have misplaced his BRP card. Will this be an issue? I have a photocopy of it, can I register the BRP as lost and submit the copy as evidence?
2 - his passport has expired. Will this be an issue?

Thank you

Thank you. So not having the physical BRP card won't be an issue?

Remember it is not required to send or present the hardcopy BRP.
