Naturalisation through Settlement Status

Post by Nemesis1234 » Fri Mar 04, 2022 12:17 pm

Hi Guys,

I need your help

I got Residence Card through EEA application in 2018

I applied and got Settle Status in 2019 because i was living in UK longer than 5 years.

My residence requirement for naturalisation will be complete in 2023

My question is

If i marry a british national will i straight apply for naturalisation or should i have to wait till my 5 year completed.

Thank you

Yes, you can apply directly for naturalisation, provided you meet the three year physical present in the UK and absences requirements and have also passed the LITUK test and meet the English language requirements.
