Naturalization if partner lives outside UK currently

Post by drmahmoud » Tue Aug 23, 2022 5:28 pm

Hi Everyone,

If I am married recently outside UK but I applying for naturalisation from UK and never exceeded days of absence. My husband lives in a different country not UK not our home country. The link below says in pages 29-30 that if a partner lives outside UK then this casts doubts on intentions to make UK home in naturalisation process. If we plan that my husband join me sometime later in the year, how can we convince the HO with this. Has anyone faced similar situation?

Thanks so much

Naturalisation is personal. Your husband can live and work anywhere he likes. Where you live and work is what matters.

Apply within the UK, and all should be fine.
No sin in failing, you just have to try and try again!
