Need advice on Deported Family member

I have a deported family member from Canada that i would love to have at my wedding at the end of the year. How would i go about this. It was a criminal offence, its has been more then 10 years, and its not like he wants to stay. He would be here only for the wedding and he would go back.

If you can direct me to the correct avenues to have this become a reality that would be appreciated.
