NEED ADVICE ON EEA3+4.

Post by london2014 » Fri Mar 28, 2014 4:54 pm

Before I start, I want to thanks this forum as it has helped me and I gained a lot of knowledge.

My History:

01/10/2008 - I came to UK
26/10/2008 - I started my first job, and until now I still work there.
28/05/2009 - My non EEA(wife) + EEA(son) came to UK.
30/07/2009 - My non EEA (wife) received EEA2 and it will expire on: 30/07/2014.
21/01/2014 - A new born baby in UK.
15/03/2014 - I received a EEA3 (applied: 15/02/2014)
01/10/2014 - My EEA (son) will turn 18 years old.

My questions:

Myself - When is the best time possible to apply for British Citizen? After one year I received my EEA3 or less?

My non EEA (wife) - When is the best time possible to apply for EEA4?
1) 25/05/2014 due to 5 years being here or...
2) 30/07/2014 due to the expiring date for EEA2?

My new born Baby in UK: Can my child get automatically a British Passport or do I have to apply for British Citizen Register (MN1)?

My EEA (son) - Should he apply for EEA3 or a British Citizens and if British Citizens, what is the best time possible?

Thank you so much for reading and I hope to hear good answers.

You : 27/10/2014 ( 6 years after you started working in the UK )

Your Wife: 29/5/2014 EEA4

If child was born after a parent has settlement/PR/British citizenship, then their child is automatically British (1(1)) otherwise than by descent
Else, immediately after a parent is granted settlement/PR, their child is entitled to register for British citizenship (Section 1(3)), irrespective of child's immigration status.

A British citizen child may apply for a British passport (or a CoE-RoA).
