Need Advice - Microbiology Jobs

Post by Anil Mamidala » Wed Apr 14, 2010 12:22 pm

Dear Members,

My name is anil, Iam planning to apply for HSMP visa in comming 2 months. I basically hold Masters degree in Microbiology and have a experience of 8 years in Research and development with a annual income package of 7 lakh rupees (50000 Rs monthly take home). My main question - is it ok if i resign my present job and leave to UK and search for a job there in Microbiology area. Should I be happy with my present job in india. I dont now exactly what is the present microbiology job market situation in UK. Please suggest me, will i get a good job of pay around 1.5 to 2 lakh rupees/ month.

Thanks for u advice

Regards
Anil

I think you need to go on the UKBA site and check for any employment restrictions or requirements in your field of work. I know that Doctors, Dentists and nurses have to qualify for UK employment by writing a number of tests and also do some internship though I am no expert in this field.

It's a good idea to check on the internet first as you have to do this to get some idea. Microbiology career info is not readily available as it is not as popular as the IT field which this forum can give ample advice on.

All the best
