Need advice regarding HSMP Visa application.

I hold a working holiday maker visa from oct 06 to oct 08. I am currently resident in India and was contemplating of moving to the UK in Jan 06. Now, the rules for HSMP changed and suddenly, I find that I am now eligible to apply for HSMP visa as I score 75 points under the new HSMP points calculator. I am thinking of staying back and switching from working holiday maker visa to HSMP visa. any advice?
